About the course
This course is designed to help support your child and give them the tools to help them cope with their stress, anxiety and other emotions. It also will help your child learn more about themselves. It can help them figure out what they like to do and what relaxes them. It is also meant to help them learn more about their thoughts and feelings and what stresses them out. The skills that are being taught in the workshop can be easily followed and understood by your child. There are some activities that may require some adult assistance but those have been kept to a minimum. Please note that this course is not meant to replace any face-to-face therapy that your child may require. These tools are aimed at supporting your child. By the time they are finished with the course, they would have figured out different ways to cope with their stress, anxiety and other feelings. There are just a few things I want to share with you before they start: 1. This is meant to be fun so you child mustn't be afraid to try all the different skills 2. They may need some help with some of the activities so they might ask you or another adult to help if they get stuck 3. There are some of the tools that they will like and some they won’t – they choose which ones they think will help them
